Lead units pull long cut of cars from the ladder track at the yard in Yuma, Virginia, during final assembly of a coal train in October 1978. Loads will head southeastward from Yuma to Bulls Gap, Tennessee, which is on the Southern Railway main line between Bristol and Knoxville.
